Make yourself at home... The "bed and breakfast package" includes a tour of the house and a full breakfast that might feature French toast and home-cured bacon or egg/cheese puff with sausage. You are invited to share most of the house with your hosts.
For those special events... Plantation House Bed & Breakfast offers facilities for parties, receptions, meetings, etc.
Business retreats:...It's also an ideal place for business retreats, in a quiet setting away from daily stress and pressure. The upstairs Billiard Room will seat 40 at tables.
Ballroom: The connected Ballroom contains the serving area and will seat 20 at tables.

Guest Accommodations:
The Old Guest Room... takes you back to days gone by with lace, rose-strewn walls and lots of oak woodwork. The queen bed is angled in a corner close to the alcove leading to the new private bath with tub/shower and pedestal sink.
The Stained Glass Room... with its wall of stained glass windows boasts a king bed which can be separated into twins. The attached twin bed anteroom, closed off with french doors, leads to the new private bath.
Mrs. Butler's Room
Mrs. Butler's Room... elegant in red, black and gold, has some of her original mahogany furniture and a queen bed. The large private bath with its unusually long bathtub and two sinks is just a few steps down the hall. Fluffy robes are provided for the trip.
The Mirror Room... has a built-in oak dresser with mirrors on
three sides and a matching oak wardrobe near the queen size bed. The attached bath has the
original tile, sink and tub (with an added hand-held shower). Adjoining this bath is the
new Whirlpool Room with a large "corner tub-for-two". A door to the hallway
allows this room to be accessible to all of our guests, with a system of locks to make it
completely private for "just the two of you". We have chosen to make an extra
charge for the use of this room rather than raising the rooms rates. We think you'll want
to take advantage of this relaxing spot where you are surrounded by pastel hydrangeas.
Fluffy terry robes are provided in each room.
The Old Master Room... Has a bay
window overlooking the front yard. The queen bed is nestled in a corner and framed by
curtains. An alcove to one side of the room contains the antique claw-foot tub and
pedestal sink and this room truly does have a "water closet".
The Guest Cottage
The Guest Cottage... surrounded by trees in our large back yard, is a one bedroom house, with queen bed and attached bath with tub/shower. The large living/dining room has a small TV and comfy chairs. At one end is a day-bed with trundle which can accommodate two. The tiny kitchen has a table, a microwave and a small refrigerator but it is not intended for full housekeeping. This charming cottage is perfect for that private "get-away" but it is also ideal for families with children since they have direct access to the yard.
Rates:
Our rates range from $65 to $80 for two people plus 6% tax. (These rates
do include our famous FULL breakfast.) Discounts offered for length of stay.
Plantation House Bed & Breakfast is approved by the Nebraska Association of Bed and
Breakfast and is inspected and rated by the American Automobile Association.
We have been in Midwest Living, AAA Home and Away, Country Extra and Rural Electric
Nebraskan magazines and numerous guidebooks and newspapers.
